Friday

the mid-willamette valley is mourning the loss of two police officers. tuesday night, an oregon state police officer and an albany officer were killed while helping a vehicle on the side of the road. an oregon state university student fell asleep at the wheel, and swerved off the freeway and struck them and a third officer who is still in critical condition.

our prayers are with the family and friends of those who were killed and the officer still in the hospital.

ok.. so i've gotten married since the last time i blogged. our wedding went off great! hopefully soon i'll have pictures up. i'm now officially mrs. bartch. it's pretty awesome to say that. i've even gotten my new id. :)

i'd write more, but i'm being rushed out the door... going to go watch the beavers at tailgaters. go beavs!!

my mom is coming down today, we're going to do wedding stuff. only 2 weeks and 2 days left before i get married. it's quite an interesting thought. i really hope it all goes off without a hitch. of course - this is a wedding, what am i thinking. i don't really care how it goes off, as long as by the end of the day, i'm married to the man i love.

nyal has started up his own weblog. now it's a contest to see who updates the most. but since he's online oh.. about 10 times more than i am, i wonder who will win!! i don't always get to check all my email every day, let alone, bum around online to produce a blog!

my birthday was on friday, we went camping at the beach over the weekend. it was much fun (except that it rained the whole weekend).
