Dear posters,

My earthly role model would definitely have to be Secretary of State Colin Powell. He is truly an amazing person, general, and thinker. He is very intelligent and he has a very good grasp on what the world needs to make it better. If you watched him do that special documentary on MTV, he clearly is smart, and he knows a lot about solving problems, and I feel as if he's a great man to look up to. He is a family guy, down to earth, community helper. I'm reading his biography right now and he was pretty cool when he was in high school, but he wasn't that smart, but look at him now. Colin Powell is truly a man of greatness and authenticity.

See ya,

Josh

Well Thanks,

That just makes my day. We had that question in one of my classes and a boy said I was his role model. I feel good now.

Josh

I have different role models for different things. I admire my parents for being successful in life, for being in a lovely and caring relationship and doing their best to raise us kids. I admire some of my teachers who have gone that extra mile to make me feel special as a student and to help me accomplish my dreams. I admire, of course, certain celebrities for not only what they do with their talents but what they do to help out people around them and the world at large. I definitely admire some of my friends, those who know who they are and what they want in life. Strong people. People who are wise and can make smart decisions. People who aren't suckered into peer pressure nor petty traps that are always around us. But most of all, I look up to those who acted with great heroism and great bravery on 9/11 because it inspired millions of people and helped us all to realize the potential we all have in us.
