I find that it is wrong not to let women over there have an education. In many ways I can say that I am lucky to be a girl in America but I know that in every country women are being discriminated against. Girls in the U.S. are in "slavery" just as girls are in Afghanis tan. It's not like if parents are not afraid of letting their daughters out. Plus in this world men rule. Men control the minds of girls so that they must go out in fear of being raped or harassed. I find that hurting a girl if her face is not covered is the same as hurting a girl because she's wearing a miniskirt or because "she asked for it."
k...I agree that Afghanistan women should be educated. But the covering of the faces...is a cultural importance to them, you can't just say it's stupid...there are reasons. For one thing, it helps people to get to know the woman for WHO she is, not WHAT she looks like - and I...rather like that. It is also a protection. Kind of a way of saying "Hey!! Look for what's on the inside...not the cover" or "You can't judge a book by it's cover"
