Is it a conscious choice to hate or is it inborn?
It's not a conscious choice, but you're not born with it. You learn to hate. From the people around you. Usually because you're scared. We're only born with two fears-->fear of loud noises and fear of falling (*paid attention during Psych!*) Hate is because we're afraid. A good choice: follow to words of FDR "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself."

i don't think hate is something you are born with, but i also don't think that it is something someone might choose to do. and as i type this.. i'm realizing that i'm just repeating what was already said... so, i'm gonna go ahead and stop now.. just lets say i agree completely with what drummerchick said...
