What differences in reactions to 9/11 and attitudes afterwards were there between generations? I was thinking mainly about contrasts between ourselves and the baby boomers, but observations on any generation are welcome here, including...
the baby boomers
generation X
the Greatest generation (WWII vets and the women their age)
any other generations in America

Obviously it's been like night and day with us and our parents...our parents all "Support Bush! If you don't say you love Bush and his administration you're a traitor!" Our generation isn't afraid. Of course there are some 52-year-olds who are still hippies and they aren't afraid, but on our generation neither side is afraid of retribution or anything if we speak our mind.
As for Generation X...the peers of Kurt Cobain are so "whatever" about this thing. They didn't get all hysterical about the destroyed towers marking the END OF THE WORLD and how American commerce and the American way has been attacked in the form of the towers and the world is changed forever like our parents did...you didn't see 30-year-olds give speeches about how profusely they were weeping on the eleventh of September. They also didn't get into this flag thing like Boomers did and really don't care about allthe patriotism and fake patriotism that's goin on. None of the "jump onto this bandwagon" bullshit.
