i was just wondering what y'all think of capital punishment. i'm personally against it totally - i think it's illogical, immoral, and ineffective, but that's just me. i'll explain more later, but this is a very interesting and touchy subject to me and i would be interested to see what you guys think.

I dont think that anyone deserves to die and I definitely dont think that the government should have the power to take the life of someone. And even if I did, there is still too much of a chance of killing an innocent person involved. Not to mention that the government cant even attempt to logically call murder illegal and wrong if they are committing it themselves.

OK, my thoughts on it...are the same as yours. I think it's illogical, immoral, and ineffective, just as you do. OK, so the person can't commit the crime anymore, but they didn't even have to think about what they have done, and the government has committed a crime themselves!! And what happens if they get the wrong person?? I don't know....I just know I'm against it!
