I dunno about right and wrong anymore. It's harder to argue about morality than it is to argue about what's working and doing the greatest good. I'm with you on the pimping point though. America is like the new colonial power, and I think colonialism is a good place to start in terms of examples of how the US pimps other nations for their resources. Though the US doesn't have "colonies" it's attitude and behavior is similar to that of a colonial power.

I guess when you think about it in terms of morality, what is right and what is wrong? i mean everyone has differn't moral agenda's or umbrella. So i guess it comes down to, what is ur moral agenda. me personally i feel that nobody has the right to kill anybody, to use that as one example. Responding to Locke's comments, lets take the most recent example, the so called "war against terror" or as many might believe, one being me, "war for oil in afghanistan." This is how i see it, there are terrorist camps all over the world,(including the US. School of the America's trains Latino American soldiers to become terrorists.) So lets look at this, if there are terrorist camps all around the world than why focus on Afghanistan. Is it a coincidence that Afghanistan happens to have a shit load of oil and just happens to be a third world country. very interesting i think.

Pintozo,
It's no coincidence that we started in Afghanistan... Apparently we found "credible" evidence against Bin Laden. Bin Laden is (or waz) in Afghanistan. So, we go to where our enemy is.
We asked nicely for awhile for the Taliban to hand over our enemy. The Taliban kept denying our requests, so we blew the hell out of their small country.
I hate the conspiracy theorist reason as to why we are in this "war." We have more targets then Afghanistan, (ex. "The axis of evil") we are just working on finishing up our business there.
I am sure in the mean time the U.S. is working on taking out other terrorists cells in other countries. We just don't get to hear about them since that would ruin their operations. If you were in a terrorist cell wouldn't you just love to know which cells the CIA and FBI are targeting?

"so we blew the hell out of their small country"
You sound kind of proud of that Locke.
Also "The Axis of Evil" doesn't that sound like the title of a comic book? Doesn't it all sound a little fictitious? Clear enemies, ridiculously high tech weaponry, iconic main characters, symbolic fabrics :), dramatic speeches, very black and white, I mean it almost sounds like propaganda ::cough::

It def is straight up propoganda. Gray you and i def see eye to eye. Yes locke we are blowing up their small country. I guess the debate should now be about morality. Now obviously to you its ok to kill innocent people, like we have been doing for so many many many years. Iraq, Inochina, Panama. etc etc etc.
What would you say if Iraq tommorrow said to the US goverment that we had to hand over the terrorist's we train at the SChool of the America's, and they said that if we dont in a certain amoutn of time they were going to bomb us?
This is my point, one read between the lines, and two please look at ur moral agenda dont let the government decide for you.
Actually, A few years back, Some country ( may have been El Salvador, I not sure) had a guy who murdered a whole bunch of people and then fled to the US. We refused to let them look for him. Seeing a paralel? Does that gove them the right to bomb us?
Yeah, I think its all wrong.
And the 'Axis of Evil' is an idiotic name. It makes them (Like I already said about 'the evil one') seem like not-really-people. And thats a dangerous thing. Cause then its easy to forget all about the US supposedly being a 'humane' country.
