well besides it being immoral and one of the biggest diseases, so to speak in the world, you have to just sti and wonder, what is it really good for you. i wanna hear yall's thoughts about it. also do u consider people who are in the army murderer's?
I do. That may be their job, but they are essentially any given country's hitmen. I see no purpose in it. If anyone understands it, please tell me.

It's good for bringing down the world population... other than that ::shrug::
ok, now i don't really agree with war and all that, but i don't necessarily consider the ppl in the army murders. it's their duty, they are protecting our nation, they are using defense, and that is not a crime, it is, ultimately murder cuz one person kills another, but just like in the judicial system, ppl can get off with self defense when they kill someone, it's just about the same thing with the army, they are just protecting our nation, protecting it for us. so we should be grateful that there are ppl to serve, since the world doesn't want to choose the choice to no wars, there has to be ppl to fight.

Yes, I consider them murderers. They kill people. Actually, they're almost worse than murders. They don't even know the person they're killing.

I love that song! I love WAR! (The band! The band!) "Why can't we be friends? Why can't we be friends? (and finally) Why can't we be friends?" They were so cool.
Gray-Ah! Yes! I love that band! I got to see them in concert once for free up in Seattle when I used to live there. It was awesome!

in response to papermonkey comments: Is it really their duty though? since most of the war's that US goes into are not exactly necessary, than are the soldiers really donig their job. many people volunteer to be in the army, which means that essentially they are asking to kill people. how do u figure there has to be wars? diplomatic relations, discussions? prosecuting people to international/national law ETC ETC ETC
pintozo: i think it is their duty. people want to protect our nation, the voluntarily want to protect our nation, no matter what they have to do. war is not necessary, there is always an alternate option to war and violence, but what i was saying is that even when they try to have diplomatic relations and discussions and peace talks and such, something always goes wrong, and it usually ends in war.

when was the last time u heard of our gov, for example, participate in peace talks. please site specific examples of this.
i never said that our gov has tried to participate, but i do remember several instances, such as the israeli peace talks a couple of years ago, if i'm remembering correctly, and other times, but even if they don't participate in them, that is still an option to the violence, that's my point, that even tho the option for peace talks is present, the u.s., as well as a lot of other nations, don't take it. they choose war.

yes its obvious that ur saying that, and u dont see this as wrong. that was the point i was trying to make.
yes i do see it as wrong, i seriously don't think that it's moral to have war, but what can i do to stop it?
