Hi everybody. How's it going? I'm a 16 year old guy, and I live in Canada. What's my attitude in life? Two words: no. limits. I try to learn everything, to do everything, to experience everything I can. It's really hard for me, but it's what I want to do, and there isn't anything that's going to stop me (but meybe slow me down a bit... :)
For the most part, I like to listen to people. Call it a hobby, a talent, whatever you want. It's just what I do.
I hope to have a great time talking to you all. Bye!

Hello to Group 9,

I hope Group 9 can fill the shoes of my last group...Group 4. I miss them already! Well, I lived in NYC till I was 9, and then my family moved to a small town an hour north of tha City...I'm a 17 yr old guy who's livin' the American Dream; well, close to it anyway. I love to write poetry, songs, and novels; the novel I'm currently in the middle of is called Dawn of Time and starts with 9-11 and is about what happens in the world over the next 60 years...I enjoy reaching out to people; when you know that you've had a connection with anyone--a stranger, a family member, a friend--on an intimate level beyond the superficial, you begin to feel how important you and the people around you really are. Well, before I start going on and on and ruin this whole thing before it begins, I'm gonna sign off for now.
Talk to you all soon,
Mike Dee

Hi everyone! I think that this is a great site so others in the United States can be connected and share their thoughts on the changes that have effected our country since 9-11. This may have been as dark of day as Pearl Harbor, but with every situation, there must be something to learn from this. I don't think a new gain in patriotism is what we need to learn. We need to learn more about the other ethnic groups. We need to learn to be tolerant. I mean, World Peace is a very idealistic thought, but it just takes time. A LOT of time, but it is a thought that pushes people to the limits of getting along and acceptance. It is what makes the UN the UN.
Okay, I think that is all. Take care!

Hey every1!
Hmmm, well I guess I kind of messed up in doing the order of things in here.lol; I sort of forgot to write and intro first and then go on to posting my thoughts or rather opinions on a variety of issues. Anyway, as you can probably see already, I am new to this, but overall am really glad to have joined.
For, the school that I go to is a prepy boarding school with not too many different views. Mostly just a lot of Republican rich kids that have no opinion of their own. So as you can imagine I am pretty glad to be able to be here and finally hear some intelligent conversations being done about serious issues. In any case, I guess I am suppose to tell something about myself as well. Well, I am originally from Europe(Yugoslavia) and had moved here about 5 years ago. I love sports. Especially soccer, lacrosse and volleyball. My favorite afternoon activity though is the community service at a nearby camp for underprivileged kids nearby my school. Being there has truly tought me so much and hopefully more in the future. In any case I am glad to be a part of this group and ready to have some hard questions discussed. Thanks for reading this;bye
Tamara

Hey people!!!
I'm glad I can be part of your group this should be tons of fun for all of us. I appreciate who ever started this because it is going to help everyone get whatever is on their mind in to the world. Ok about me now. I'm 15 year's old. I live in Rochester Minnesota (which is pretty boring a points). I play softball and I'm a cheerleader. I'm a freshman in school and love to hang out with friends. I'm new to this too so I'm not very sure about what is going on. I hope we have some good discussions. Talk to you all later. Kelly

Hey everyone!! Well I kind of forgot to write down and intro for myself but went straight to chatting. I love to talk which can sometimes be a problem. I am an A student and I have just made the basketball team for the high school. I'm 14 and I'm from Tenn.. I love to play basketball and volleyball. I like wall climbing and walking ropes courses. I love school or at least most of the time. Right now I kind of hate it because I want to be outside enjoying the wonderful spring. I love the outdoors. I like to hike and I love to garden I love to plant and take care of anything from green beans to rose bushes. I feel so wonderful when outside enjoying the wonderful days that God has given to us. But other than spring time I love school. My mom says that I get spring fever. I love to read and write poetry and short stories. I love the thought of expressing my every feeling my every desires right there on that paper it brings life to those once empty pages. I love summer time every year my youth group goes to Ohio to Kings Island as a youth retreat. Well that's about all that I can think of about myself for right now. Got to go Bye.

Hey guys,

You can call me D, sorry for taking so long to post this -- kinda busy with things. Anyhoo, I'm from Minnesota and I'm totally excited to be a part of this group -- you guys sound awesome already!-) I'm an 18 year old (as of three weeks ago:-) female senior in high school and am definitely looking forward to graduation. Similar to Cri's life theory, I've developed a framework I like to call "Expand Your Limitations." Same sort of theory -- what you are currently isn't all that you will be in the future. Think more, try more, dance more, sing more, experience more, love more, and you will be more. Along with that comes my big push for awareness; awareness is key for so many problems that exist in the world today. If we all were more informed, or more able to empathize (by having experienced more) with each other, perhaps we'd be better able to understand the human condition. Of course, after that big talk, I gotsa make sure I can walk the walk too, and this group is another thing I know I will love experiencing. Thanks in advance guys -- hope you're having a great day!

D
